BI-ANNUAL LUNCH BAG PROJECT
OUR NATIONAL COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT
The Omega Phi Chi Bi-Annual Lunch Bag Project is our largest community service project in which all entities of the organization participates. The project takes place in the fall and spring semesters and is hosted by the National Governing Board. Each chapter and association donates food and supplies to make bag lunches to distribute in the inner cities. Some chapters take the project further by collecting blankets and hygiene products. Servicing our communities is a priority for the sisters of Omega Phi Chi Sorority.
The Bi-Annual Lunch Bag Project is conducted under the umbrella of OPC C.A.R.E.S (Omega Phi Chi Community Advocates Responsible for Educating and Serving), which supports all philanthropic endeavors. OPC C.A.R.E.S. aims to promote compassion, improve communities, and take advantage of education opportunities in which we can strengthen both our organization and the communities in which we reside.
