Destroying
All
Boundaries

Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. set out to create an initiative to educate and advocate for various human rights and social justice issues. The goal was and is to be a voice for all communities that are negatively impacted or minimized within society. With Destroying All Boundaries, we have been able to start hitting the tip of the iceberg on certain issues, such as BLM, Trans Rights, and Immigration Rights. As a whole organization, between NBOD, Undergrads, and Alum, we have hosted events, put out newsletters, created social media posts, and made videos about our experiences.

Topics covered:
  • Women's Rights
  • Mental Health Awareness
  • Climate Change
  • Boundaries
  • Fatphobia
  • Multiculturalism & Cultural Competency
  • Voting Rights/Voting Education
  • Reproductive Rights
  • Disability Awareness

Black Lives Matter

The Black Lives Matter movement first began in 2013, but has since grown significantly after the death of George Floyd in 2020. The movement aims to fight racism and anti-Black violence in the community. See below how our undergraduate chapters live this movement through education.

Immigration Rights

Immigration Rights encompasses the struggles that immigrants face in the United States including discrimination based on race and protection of their rights (i.e. freedom of speech, privacy, etc.). Our undergraduate sisters discuss their support to the immigrant community, how this fits into their personal identity, and how continued advocacy will bring forth change.

Trans Rights

Transgender rights protect individuals that identify as trans against discrimination in education, employment, and healthcare. We continue to shed light on these important causes so that we can push forward and build a more inclusive future.
