Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority Welcomes Phi Chapter
(New Brunswick, NJ) – Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority is pleased to announce Phi Chapter at Felician University. The National Board of Directors of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority, Incorporated welcomes our 21st chapter founded at Felician University in New Jersey. Four women were initiated as the Founding Sister Class. The Founding New Member Class includes: 1. Faviola “PHI’aura” Nunez (Dominican), 2. Sabreena “X.P.H.I.A.” Sheermohamed (Guyanese), 3. Yuranni “PHIerce” Algarin (Columbian), 4. Victoria “PHILTRIX” Cinquegrana (Italian). With campuses in Rutherford and Lodi, Felician University is one of the few Franciscan universities in the country, and the only one in New Jersey. Their reputation is based off a strong emphasis on service and respect for humanity. As the first multicultural sorority established at the university, the Omegas of Phi Chapter will be collaboratively working on building a solid foundation and setting a positive example as prominent young women leaders. These goals will be accomplished through unique programming based off Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority’s core values of promoting diversity, serving immediate and surrounding communities, and academic excellence. Omega Phi Chi would like to thank the four founding sisters for their hard work; Soror Jenise Ly, Nu Chapter Alumna, for educating the class; Natalia Tapia, National Director of Expansion; Omega Phi Chi’s National Board of Directors for facilitating the process; Tevis D. Bryant, Graduate Assistant of Student Development and Engagement at Felician University for assistance in expanding our organization; Soror Petulia Pierre and Omicron Chapter; Soror Ally Ongsuco, Delta Alumna. Please join us in welcoming our newest Sophisticated Sisters to Greek Life.
